Dear SLEEP,

It's been awhile and I miss you...
I'm just not quite myself without you...
I've been thinking about you a lot lately...
and remembering the long nights we used to have together...
and our occasional day meetings...
However, given the choice between you, and these two little guys...
they win every time.
Still, I hope we are able to spend some time together again soon...
Don't forget about me!

Sincerely,

Margie

"It's only just begun...."

Football season has officially begun....
good bye husband....
I will miss you....
see you again around Christmas time

He was one happy man after the game last night...no, ecstatic...
he could hardly breathe...literally...
I admit, I watched the game too, by myself....
I was happy because he was SO happy....he's pretty darn cute.

All about Lincoln

Lincoln is at such a fun age now. He is doing and saying all sorts of crazy things, and he makes me laugh all of the time. Here is a list of things I want to remember about him at this age...

*He says an enthusiastic "hi" to strangers at the store. It's so fun to see peoples reaction, and they can't help but smile. Some people try to ignore him, but when they do he just keeps on saying it.

*He loves to "help" mommy and daddy with everything! He especially loves to help with the laundry. He sits on top of the washer and I hand him the dirty clothes and he throws each item in the water. He loves to name what each article of clothing is too (mommy's shirt, daddy's shorts, etc.). He also loves to sweep and mop, which means he drags the broom and map all over the house. He is a BIG helper! I just hope he still loves to help when he actually knows how to do it!

*He LOVES to take baths. As soon as we say the word he starts taking off his clothes and running in circles so excited. Wouldn't if be funny if we all reacted that way to our morning showers?

*He counts to 10. About six months ago Travis started counting to ten to distract him while he changed his diaper. Now, he loves to count, and it is still a good distraction!

*He absolutely HATES to get his face washed and nose wiped. I have to chase him around the house and wrestle him to hold still and let me do it. It is always very traumatic.

*He LOVES reading books and doing puzzles. We read the same books over and over, sometimes 10 times a day. He doesn't get sick of them. Also, he loves his puzzles. He is getting pretty good at them too!

*He LOVES to dance to "Love Lockdown" by Kanye West. Travis will turn it on for him and he goes nuts. He jumps and spins and runs around the couch. It's a great way to wear him out! I would post the cute video of him dancing, but Travis won't have it because he is dancing too...

*He calls me monny.

*He loves watching Special Agent Oso.

*His favorite thing to eat in the morning is oatmeal. He eats the whole bowl in like 30 seconds and then wants to help me finish my cereal.
*He LOVES juice. We can't go anywhere without his sippy cup of juice. If I forget it Travis and I really regret it. He will say "juice" over and over. I try to explain to him that we will get it when we get home. He says "otay" and then starts all over again with the "juice" whining. The boy needs his drinks. He is just like his dad.

*He thinks the entire world revolves around him, and the truth is mine does! He is so much fun, and keeps me laughing all the time. However, I must admit I do love nap time, and when 8:00 p.m. rolls around, I am not complaining!
What a funny little guy.

Back in Business!

We have a computer again! Not to mention a house! Not to mention the Internet! It's really good to be home. Here's what's been goin' on in no particular order.

*I am almost 30 weeks pregnant! However, I happen to look like I am 50 weeks pregnant. Don't worry, I have been told that I am huge and look like I am having twins. Is there something about being pregnant that suddenly makes it ok for people to tell you that you are enormous?? Still trying to figure that one out....but don't worry, all is forgiven!

*Did I mention that we are now living in a house? It feels like it has been so long and we are so happy to be here. It feels kind of weird being new. It makes me miss my old neighbors, but everyone has been so nice and welcoming so I'm sure it will be really great.

*Travis and I celebrated our 4th anniversary! I still love him! It's true. I'm pretty much crazy about him. What do ya do?? He makes me laugh all the time, and tells me I'm cute even when I look like a whale of a pregnant lady. Now that's love. There are too many reasons to mention, but this little moment is definitely part of the reason I love him so much...I'm a lucky gal.

*My little brother Nate got his mission call. This is a hard one for me. I think of Nate as my baby brother and I'm pretty sure he is still 8 years old. Sometimes I even find myself calling Nate, Lincoln and vice versa. It's going to be hard to say good bye. I get teary just thinking about it. So I'm really trying not to. He's is such a sweet uncle, Lincoln adores him. whenever the doorbell rings he looks at me and says, "Nate?". He is going to Nashville by the way. I am so happy for him. He will be such a great missionary. Love you Nate!

Oh, by the way, Nate thought it would be funny to slick Lincoln's hair back. Hence, the picture.

*We took Lincoln to the zoo. He really liked it until he got sunscreen in his eyes causing watering and major redness. Other than that he had a great time.

Then I remembered that I am much to big to fit on the merry-go-round.

*We went camping over Memorial weekend. That's right. I am a camper. I camp. Ok, ok, let's not go to far. Anyway, Travis' family finally got to witness first hand how crazy Lincoln is. He really is pretty much a wild man. Not really sure what to do about it. Back to camping...Lincoln loved riding the four wheelers with his dad, and I learned that pregnant ladies really shouldn't ride four wheelers. Now I know.

Lincoln wasn't sure about the funny hat he had to wear. He would only wear it if his dad had his on too. That's my boy!
